Hi, can anyone tell me of any speech therapy games for helping a child articulate the "r" sound? My son still switches them, and is getting a tiny bit self concious about it since a few people have said something to him
I know some speech therapy exercises, like blowing bubbles, drinking through straws, etc, but don't know what is specific to the r/w thing. I just want it to be fun. I won't even tell him why we are doing it.

How old is your son? My almost 5 y/o dd still has problems with the r/w thing, too and I have also just started thinking that it is something I should work with her on. Fortunately, no one has said anything directly to her yet about it (at least as far as I know).

In searching on-line, I found this article and game specific to letter r enunciation that might help (although it does look it might be a touch complicated depending upon the age of the child): http://edweb.sdsu.edu/courses/edtec6...cerRabbit.html
