So last week my youngest decided it was time to stop using diapers. I credit his spirited personality and sheer determination for his success
. He simply woke up one morning and told me he didn't want to wear diapers anymore, he was only going to wear underpants. In the last two weeks he's only worn underpants during the day, had maybe 4-5 times that he didn't get to the toilet in time, and this is without any remiders from me. I wasn't expecting it, or really ready for it (I'm actually mourning the loss of diapering
:
)
My two oldest were about 4 when they could wear underpants without frequent accidents, my youngest will be 3 in August, so it is a bit of a surprise.
This is all great except for this...my youngest is also now dry at night
: He wakes up around 5AM, runs to the potty and pees for what seems like 5 minutes
My 4yo, wears diapers at night too, and is VERY wet in the morning. 4yo is not ready to be diaper free at night, but he is very upset that his "baby" brother is dry in the morning. 2yo is now saying he doesn't want to wear diapers at night, but I know this will be very upsetting to 4yo. It doesn't seem right though to keep diapering 2yo if he no longer needs one and is asking not to wear one J/K?
What would you do?
