He started pooping his pants about 2 weeks ago and now rarely makes it to the potty for that. At first I thought it was because he was so busy playing outside, but now it's all the time. My second child was born 3 1/2 months ago. We had no potty regressions at that time(tho he became more difficult in general). So what is going on? And what can I do about this? I'm trying not to get angry with him, but it is getting seriously annoying!

Don't panic! And you are right not to get angry with him.

There could be a number of reasons: looking for extra attention, physical contact, even one accident which turned out not to be so inconvieient for him may have become a habbit.

Given your recent arrival, has the number of regular story times gone down? I expect so (who can blame you)? Perhaps DH would like to put in some story time or play with trains and so on.

best of luck here.
