DS's bday is coming up fast. We're getting him a new Playmobil set (the police station), a bike, some sports equipment (baseball bat and glove, real soccer ball, cones), a spiderman costume, this drawing book: http://www.amazon.com/Ed-Emberleys-D...0323699&sr=8-2
Have you ever seen the old Martha Stewart kids magazine? If you can find some back issues there are some CUTE ideas in there. Monkeys, bug theme, etc. that would be perfect for a 5yo boy! Love it!
ETA-oh duh I thought ya meant BDAY party themes! read that too quickly!
Not sure what time of year it will be for this party, but I really would love to do a Kite party, myself. You can buy kits with decent kites that each child can decorate, and then go have a flying party... See this kit here:
If you're feeling handy and have the time, you could always make them yourself ahead of time too.
ETA-oh DUH! I missed that too and thought you meant themes... well then, just check out some of the great kites you can buy for $25 or less. Seriously-nice durable cloth ones... in all kinds of fanciful shapes and colors. Amazing!
