I have called Joanns, been to craft stores and walmart and nobody knows what is lanolin. I went online and see target sells it, it seems it is used for the breast too? Is this the same one. Should I buy that one or just find it online?

TIA

I found online on Amazon

I guess most of these will do I am thinking of getting this one http://www.amazon.com/Now-Foods-Lano...504716&sr=1-20

and

http://www.amazon.com/Liquid-Lanolin...5504716&sr=1-9

would these be ok?

This is the one they sell at Target http://www.amazon.com/Medela-87122-T...5504716&sr=1-1 it is alot more expensive than the rest.

Yup, lanolin (usually Lansinoh brand, I hadn't ever seen the other you posted) is a breastfeeding godsend, not something they would know much about at craft stores. I used it myself last time around, long before I ever thought of cloth diapering. And since I never finished a full tube, I'm getting it for dual purpose reasons when I have this babe in May/June. Even at the usual price, it's worth it since a little goes a long way.

Sometimes grocery stores carry Lansinoh for short periods of time and then discount it to get rid of it... I got some for $2 a box! Whoo hoo!

Yep, just use Lansinoh, I've been using up my tube, because I didn't need it past the first few weeks of breastfeeding.

I used lansinoh from the drugstore or Target. I liked this stuff better, and it's cheaper: http://hyenacart.com/bellajunction/index.php?c=38

go to your local pharmacy and ask them to order it. You can get a pound for 13 dollars (of the hydrous kind which means water added) It looks a little bit creamer this way. When I priced a pound of anhydrous (without water added) it was around $30. Pretty good when compared to a two oz tube for $8 at target. It can also be used to hydrate dry cracked skin just put it on at night and in the morning viola, and it doesn't burn like lotions when your skin is cracked... it's good to use at night because it is so thick an takes so long to sink in. During the day I have to keep applying because it wipes off.

I use Lansinoh that I buy at Target. Although you can order lanolin in bulk from ebay or probably etsy.
