Currently I've narrowed it to the Canon D50 and the Nikon D90. Any helpful thoughts here?

these are the same two I'm considering (well, same brands. not necessarily exact models -- I have to narrow down that after I decide).

Anyone?!? From searching MDC a bit, it seems like Nikon is more popular than Canon? I wish there was a poll!

ribboncesarean.gif cesareans happen.

Either would rock. What is your budget? Do you already own any lenses? What do you want to shoot with the camera? What camera are you coming from? Have you test shot or at least handled both so that you are sure you like both grips, weight, balance, etc?

Happy wife to DH superhero.gifand mama to DS signcirc1.gif11/05 and DD energy.gif8/07.
