Hi! I am new to diaper making but just got my machine (and fiddled with it) - and am just gathering diaper making supplies. I was wondering - did I get a good deal here:

One piece of white, 2ml PUL, dimensions: 1 yard by 60" for $8.49 a left over from a mama being sold on eBay before a move.

Looking around, I thought that was a pretty good deal, no?

Anyway just curious as to what you gals thought It's going to be hidden under an outer fabric layer, so I don't mind that it's just white

You can get it at WAHM supply for 6.95 a yard and from wazoodle for $7 something. I just got a bunch of stuff from wazoodle. They have really nice terry and zorb(super absorbant for soaker layer) and a lot of cute flannel prints.

It costs $30 to join their frequent shoppers club but then all their fabrics are cheaper. I think next time I want to order some stuff I will join because I plan on making some for my 1 yr DD and also for the new baby.

Oh you're due just two days before me, on my Dad's birthday!

How wide are the yards? I know that sounds ignorant, but are we talking 60" widths?

I checked wazoodle and it is 60". I imagine it is a pretty standard width.

Oky doky thanks

I don't think I did too bad. I guess there are also scraps that she's sending with, so we'll see what arrives

I'm so excited about making my first diapers!
