I have a ton of wool that I'm doing crafts with and am wondering if I can use Joann Fabrics eco felt squares to needle felt with. They are not real wool. Apparently, no one sells real wool felt squares anymore!

Checkers distributors does: http://www.checkerdist.com/products/WCF006-CP. I just purchased some through a coop. You can look for a retailer here: http://www.checkerdist.com/search/domestic.cfm

I don't think the eco felt will work. You need real wool fibers for felting. Some Joanns have wool yardage. Mine only has 30% wool.
