So I finally figured out what I am going to make Dh for Christmas I did a whole bunch of paper making/ fiber art way back in high school and it was so much fun. I think DH would really enjoy a handmade paper journal. So my MIL gave me an old blender and my FIL helped me make a frame/screen. So now I just need to find some liquid starch... can anyone tell me where I could buy this? The grocery store? Healthfood store? Target? Would it be with the food stuff or the laundry stuff? TIA!

You can buy liquid starch at the grocery store but you really don't need it.You can just blend up whatever scraps of paper you want to use with some water.I've made lots of paper(including all our wedding invitations)this way and it holds up great!I have some that's at least 15 years old.
