Or do I need to commission someone? We got new towels but have a ton of old ones. One of the few things on my list for baby #3 is new burp cloths. Any ideas? I can needle and thread sew, but not machine sew.

The problem with using towels without a sewing machine is that once you cut into the towel the edges are going to shed/unravel quite a bit.But if you make them two ply and turn them so the seams end up inside it shouldn't be a problem.Or you could sew a binding around the edges to solve that problem.
