I saw an awesome necklace in a magazine made from glass bottle necks and would love to give that sort of project a go.

Anyone have experience working with glass cutting tools?

Well - I made stained glass at a friends house. She had an enclosed room in the basement so the cats didn't track tiny glass dust anywhere. I wore a kerchief and changed all my clothes after. And some plastic gloves because after a few hours i bothered my hands. She had a special tool that we dipped in oil and scored the glass with. Then we carefully broke the glass along the score line. We weren't working with glass bottles or anything round. Just flat pieces. On the whole it isn't something I would just do on my own.

Third generation WOHM. I work by choice.
