I finished the girls' newboy cap, and it was a hit!

I also finished my Shalom:

I had some Noro that I discovered I really don't like, so I used it to make this "ugly bag" for quick walks and bike rides around the neighbourhood:

I just finished making this bee hat for my cousin's first birthday. The model is 5yo DS (I made it really big for him to grow into!).

I just started working on this jacket for MIL for Christmas in a lovely soft blue. I hope it works. I didn't realize until I'd already started that the yarn used was a chunky yarn. So I'm making it in the next size up and it should work because the yarn is really stretchy.

Then I'm thinking about trying this for GMIL.

I'm also doing granny squares whenever I can for BIL's Christmas gift. I'm going to put a bunch of granny squares together to make 8-bit Mario. He's a big gamer and he's going to love it. It was inspired by this but I'm doing Mario in a running pose.

my newest project....
It's the first time I have felted anything. One slipper looks huge compared to the other in this picture, but they're really not that different.

listipton- those are awesome! What pattern it is?

I finally finished my swallowtail- it is the prettiest think I have ever knit. But I am going to give it to my sweet neighbor- who is really one of my best friends because she loved it a little more than me.

But I now have shawl making confidence! I start Aeolin and it is going so good! I also made DS2 a pair of shorties and need to get him another pair made since I am getting new diapers that are NOT AIO. And I am anticipating getting some new yarn for a new sweaterbabe sweater for fall. I am kind of loving pumpkin.

I did finish a pair of socks that were otn for over a year- they were well worth the wait though- fabulous socks!

I sewed in snaps, and made detatchable straps with the same color fabric ribbon thinking i would have a problem with um "slippage" since I'm so small up top. Unbelievably, it stays put with the elastic band alone, and the straps have been unnecessary. They actually bug me since the halter is sooo freeing lol.

I'm making a twin leaf patterned hat, scarf and fingerless glove set for my future SIL with Louet Gems in Fern Green - fingering weight for the gloves and worsted for the hat and scarf. These are the patterns, no pics of the actual progress yet (I am partway done with the scarf and one glove):

OK- I am adding the french press slippers to my list. I hate buying patterns though. But they would make awesome Christmas gifts for just about every woman I know- and the yarn wouldn't be too much either.

Also- I recieved my new Interweave yesterday- at first glance I wasn't really too impressed- but this morning I am seeing all sorts of possibilities- particularly the Chiral Cardigan. I could definitely see it in black. More fun than a basic utilitarian cardi- and with ww and size 10.5 needles- it is right up my alley.

I did order yarn for this http://www.sweaterbabe.com/knitting-...wrap-cardi.htm I was going to do pumpkin- but decided on WotA in mink heather. I guess I was just nervous.

Awesome! I was just thinking about taking some hand dyed by me and making felted slippers out of it- that should work shouldn't it? It is a good sturdy wool dyed with food coloring to a pretty teal blue/ with titches of purple...... Any thoughts?

absolutely! I used to say I would never felt because it seemed like a ridiculous idea to knit something enormous, then shrink it! and you'd lose all the stitch definition .... hahahah! I think I may have to make some slippers next ...

That sleep sack is too cute. I actually had one of those (crochet style) on my list to do. I'm still looking for a good pattern. I found a couple of okay ones on Ravelry but none I love. Please post pics when it's done.

I've just started this weasley girl jacket for DD. Hopefully it will be ready as a Christmas present. I am not a fast knitter.

I'm also working on some winter socks for myself. They are just simple ribbed ones in some soft wool I got from freecycle.

Somehow winter is knitting time for me, something about the dark evenings so I expect my projects will start going a little quicker soon.

I will join in, I tried crocheting but am super duper slow so last night I sat there and watched lots of you tube videos and started knitting. I am making a hand towel for the kitchen and some washrags and then I want to make warm socks for Christmas gifts for people.

I love seeing all the idea and wonderful thing that are in progress. Hoping this thread inspires me and I can learn to read a pattern.

I am currently organizing my winter knitting queue. Trying very hard to stay on my yarn diet but two of the projects that I really want to do Chevron Lace Cardigan & Trout River require DK/light worsted yarn and I don't have enough of any to make a sweater.

Currently working my way through hubby's Cobblestone, finally on the yoke, and I cast on a Traveling Woman last week.

My family of 3 (plus pup) Indigo (Aimee), Rob (dp), Ryne (ds) & Phebe (dog), plus my BIL's family of 3.

I just finished my lattice hat. It was a quick project for my flight home a few days ago. See pictures here and there. I really enjoyed this project once I understood what was going on. I'm currently knitting a bowtie scarf with the leftover yarn and some scraps to match it.

I'm trying to finish up a bunch of my unfinished projects, but the new ones that I'm working on are leg warmers, wrist warmers, I just finished some wrist warmers with skulls for my son who starts K next week, and am about to start him a hat that matches. I'm also thinking about holiday gifts.

I am a new-ish spinner. I started in May of this year, and I it!!! I just have a drop spindle, but someday might be able to tackle getting a spinning wheel, you know, when I win the lottery. I am currently working on some naturally dyed raspberry pink mohair/ milk fiber blend. Once I have enough of something to knit, I imagine I will be spending some serious time on knittinghelp.com. In the mean time, spin spin spin, draft, and spin some more!

Married to my loving DH superhero.gif, becoming more and more "crunchy" with age.

I've been working on a fall line of infant hats, and a few adult things for the shop that carries my work. Right now I've got a commission, 3 hats and a scarf. That ought to keep me busy for at least the next few weeks.
