I need to send a photo of myself to a newspaper for an interview they did with me. The lady emailed me and said that the one I initially sent was too low a resolution for print and that I needed to send her one with a higher resolution.

How do I do that? I don't have photoshop, which is what my google search is suggesting.

Do you have a digital camera or a printed photo that you're scanning? Take a new photo with the camera on it's highest res setting or scan it at highest resolution, when you upload it don't let anything reformat it to make it smaller.
