Can anyone tell me how to go about finding out if an image is copywrited?

I'll be specific: I want to use the "Keep Calm and Carry Yarn" image (similar to the Keep Calm and Carry On posters that are everywhere) for some crafts that I would sell at a craft fair, but I don't know how to find out if it's OK to do so.

I've seen this image on mugs, shirts, bags, stitch markers, etc. made by other individuals and by manufacturers.

Does anyone have a clue?

If you make your own graphic is probably fine. The words aren't copyrightable. Either handwrite it on poster board or design it on your computer. However, you cannot take a graphic file from another source without violating their ownership, so no snagging one from the web and printing it yourself or incorporating it into your materials. You would need to have permission from the source or a purchased print.
