A friend of a friend gave me a ton of wool from their farm. My friend *thinks* it is sheep and alpaca. I guess she is an animal rescuer and just has a variety of them. I have bags and bags and bags of the stuff that I've been trying to clean for some time (front loader so can't do it in the machine). Some of it I've accidentally felted while cleaning it, so I know that will felt. But some of the other stuff doesn't seem like it will felt- ever. I'm wondering if there's an easy way to tell, if I can instead spin it (supposedly no second cuts), and what else can I do with it if it doesn't felt, other than stuffing. I'm pretty crafty, so any idea is a great one!
