Could someone give me a quick explanation of what the difference is between "school paste" and "school glue"? Which is best to use for simple craft projects with a 3 yo? We've been using Elmer's washable school glue (applied with a paint brush so that Miss Priss doesn't have to get her fingers dirty:LOL ), and I'm ready to invest in a big bottle of it. However, I wanted to know what my options were before I committed to half a gallon or more.

Thanks!

The only thing I remember as a main difference is paste is more sticky, not as runny.

Paste is much thicker than glue. When dry, both are clear, but the paste flakes off really easily. Paste is easier to use for a small child, especially one who doesn't want to get dirty - you can spread it with a popsicle stick and never have to touch it. It satys where you put it and doesn't run like glue. We never use paste, though, because of the flakiness when dry, and it has a smell that I just don't like, lol!

Well, according to my sister's boyfriend in Kindergarten, "paste is better because you can eat it."
