A friend of mine wants to get her 2yo daughter an organic Waldorf doll that is well-made with all eco-friendly chemical free materials. I know she's looking to buy one, not make one (so hopefully I'm posting this in the right forum). If you have any leads I can pass on to her, I would really appreciate it! TIA!

There are lots of Waldorf dolls made of organic materials on Etsy.  She could also try online Waldorf supply and toy stores like,"a Child's Dream come True" , Palumba, Maplerose, etc.

Busy keeping up with three children and an awful lot of chickens!

I ordered one of 100% organic cotton for my daughter on Etsy. The seller even custom made a mermaid tail for the doll (my daughter loves mermaids!) I highly recommend her shop.

I hope it's OK to point you in the direction of my own etsy shop :-) I have a couple of dolls ready for sale here:

http://www.etsy.com/shop/Veelana?section_id=7462940

I use natural materials like cotton and wool for the dolls (some are stuffed with recycled fiber fill for better washability, but they are labeled) and recycled childrens clothing (and all kinds of other recycled fabrics like table cloth or bed sheets) for the doll clothing Take a look :-)
