I've decided to do a camping party for my child's 4th birthday party. We will go to a real campground for this. I would love some ideas for things to make for this.
Such as an explorer vest that they can hook a compass on. Maybe has a pocket or two. I googled, but have not found a tutorial, any suggestions?
I was thinking of decorating walking sticks.
Any tutorials of things I can make as part of the party would be great! Thanks!
this is what immediately popped into my mind, might work as favors?
you can figure out pocket vests yourself, just use a regular vest as the pattern and add pockets.
a scavenger hunt will be a fun game. my dad once arranged one as a hunt where we had to dig (there were numbered tent stakes as markers, maps, and clues involved) to find what we were looking for...
i will think on this more, maybe i will remember some cool tut i have seen...

when i was a nanny on an organic farm, i would take the girls on nature walks and we would pick up pretty leaves or stix or light weight things that caught their eye and then make our found items into nature collages.
