Does anyone have a source for wool knit fabric? I want to make my son some wool longies, but I'm a sloooow knitter. I'd like to make my son something like this: http://us.hessnatur.com/shop/productdetail.action?modelCode=26766&pos=1&advertiser=NJB%7CN0J%7CM0B
I know they're getting their fabric from somewhere...I just don't have a good source. I don't need to pay for their sewing or their marketing--I'm a good seamstress.
Ideas? Also ISO ideas for other ways to keep my kid warm at night.

Totally check the thrift stores. I just picked up a gorgeous wool/mohair sweater for .99c on Saturday. Now to decide if I'm going to turn it into something for my daughter, or turn it into something to sell.
Freecycle might be a good place to look too. Ask if anyone has a moth-eaten wool sweater--if you felt an adult sweater, you ought to be able to get enough good out of it for an infant or toddler.
