I came across a nice charity purely by accident last night, which touched my heart and I am going to volunteer for. It is called Touching Little Lives and they sew clothing for premature infants (including burial clothes for those born too early and rememberance hankies for early losses). Most of their projects are very easy which increases my chance of actually completing them!-- they need sewers, knitters, and crocheters. The one that I am going to volunteer for is located here in Ohio, though I am sure there are similar organizations in other states as well. They also make quilts, etc. for the babies. I thought I would post about it here since I am sure many mamas here can relate to the cause and may have a little free time or scraps to donate to the organization (or seek out a similar one near you).
