I would. I'm in southern Cali, though, and I don't know where you are exactly (central?). Send me a PM if you want to try to get together - I could use a knitting buddy . In the meantime, I totally 2nd the suggestion to get the Stitch N Bitch book.

Where are you? And where are you MomInFlux? I'm in san diego.

Umefey, I'm jealous! I'm a nyc girl and I don't think anything else will be quite right for me, but we were just in pasadena a couple of months ago and I really like it there. We actually lived there for a year about eight years ago, right near old town. We went back for a little walk down memory lane...

I'm in Lake Arrowhead. The weather has been grand for knitting these last few days - I'd give my right arm to be able to sit in front of the fire with my knitting and a cup of tea. Alas, this full-time working mom is stuck at a desk......

Oh it's terrible to be stuck at a desk when you should be lounging by the fire! I have been taking full advantage of this weather. I have been knitting and sewing like crazy. I almost don't want the sun to come out.
