Man, I am so freaking with my serger. Can anyone identify what the problem is here? The thread on my right needle keeps twisting around on itself. So, the stitch ends up stitching a loop and I end up with a long thread which isn't attached to the needle. (I hope that's clear.) Is it a problem with the needle? The fabric? (I'm serging 3 layers of french terry). I'm just about to toss the ill-begotten machine out the window. :

I wish I knew what was wrong with your machine...I can totally identify...my serger was acting up on me last night, I finally had to give up. I had to re-thread my machine and now all the tensions are messed up and I can't fix it!!
I hope you get your serger working for you!

Oh mama, I have been there with my serger. Try another fabric and see if it works on it. If it does, then you know it is likely a tension problem. I assume that you have completely re-threaded from that spool? I find that sometimes helps. If you have anymore details, let me know and I will try to help!
