ok, sewers and fabric gurus.... i need a wool primer. I want to make my legwraps in wool and have made a couple pairs with some remnants, but I'm not sure what kind of wool it is- like jersey or flannel or interlock.. there are so many different kinds and i'm not sure what will work for me. I got some jersey through a coop and felted it (as best i could in my front loader) but its way to thin. I need something akin to a thick wool shirt, or even what might be used for a wool blazer, but not too stiff.

can someone school me on this, and give me resources? i have some wool covers from Sugar Peas that are about the thickness i want, but not sure what type it is. I don't dare order any from any co-ops until I know exactly what i'm getting. thanks!!
