Very pretty color! I noticed too - very creative contrast.

Hey that would be hemp leaves not pot leaves! What is wrong with you Mamma's? Did that get you all excited? LMAO.

Ok SAD THING!!!! It is toooo small for her.

Shall I list it on the TP? It is going to kill me to do it!!!

Oh and BTW...NO bleeding...I allowed it to soak in water while I was gone. I used vinegar IN the koolaid dye. It still looks great.

That is a great color. Now I have read and reread about the kool-aid but I still don't know if it would work on prefolds. Does anyone know?

I think it would totally work on prefolds. Use two or more packs though and I added a couple cups of vinegar to my pot. I think I may go look for a lime color to get that pretty charteruse color that is so hot with this coral/red color this year in all the fashion mags. LOL.

Don't do it! I'm pretty sure the kool-aid only works on animal fibers (wool, silk, etc.). To dye cotton or hemp, you would need a fiber reactive dye like those from Dharma Trading.

ETA: gorgeous cover - way to go!

Great job! I had a Kiwi I dyed a beautiful turquoise using River Rock dye or something like that, the color came out gorgeous! Sold that though, it was a bit snug on ds. I still remember the beautiful color (I dyed a playsilk at the same time in the same color!)
