nak........
every idea i have had for gifts has fallen through-need size 36 needles (really), can't find them around town, have to order. not enough time to make some other items i would really like to make. any quick-to-knit items (with cotton or wool, worsted weight) you can recommend to a beginner knitter?

wanted to add, these would be for my mom and for my kids homeschool co-op teachers. nothing fancy, just quick and cool works .
Please?

Click on the link in my sig - I made the boa-like scarf as my first project. You just take 2 balls of eyelash yarn (one rainbow, and one coordinating color) and knit it together on size 13 needles until it's the length you want it. I dropped stitches like crazy, and you could never tell. As a rank newbie it only took a few days, if you're more experienced I bet you could whip one up in a few hours.
