I am making a mini-scrapbook for my inlaws to put together all the pictures of them and their grandsons from the past year. I would like to knit an American Girls poncho for my sister (she's 8) if I have time, mittens and a hat for my son and nephew, and I'm making napkins for my aunt. For toys I am making a felt board for my son and a matching game of some sort. Oh, and some homemade cleansers for other people on my list, and a fleece lap blanket for my grandmother.

I am going to do "theme baskets" for many people on my list, a "movie night" theme with popcorn and a book on choosing DVDs, an artist's basket with a few art supplies, an "Italy basket" for my inlaws (food and whatever I can find at our local Italian store--they like anything from or about Italy), and a gardener's basket that will include a gardening scrapbook, if I can put one together in time.

I can't wait to read through all of the ideas on this board to come up with more things! I just wish I had more time before the holidays--I am behind in my preparations already.

I'm making some table runners with fabric remnants- very pretty and very easy . I bought a few pretty good size woven baskets at the $$ store and sewed a matching/coordinating (to the runner ,material)18x18 or so napkin for it to use the basket and cloth as a bread basket. ummm.... several dollie quilt and pillows for the wee ones, my niece wants a fairy bower for her bed so i bought a very inexpensive plain white netting canopy and am embellishing it with ribbons and jewels and beads and silky streamers etc. i'm going to make a doorway puppet theater for my babes- i started it today with some soft flannel clothed hand puppets and am working on some felted mittens for my sister. also some jarred hot cocoa mixes and other typical (but expected and requested ) things like fudge, breads, honey butter etc....
so far so good.
I'm almost done actually

lots of awesome ideas ladies ---keep 'em comin' :
