Have any of you come across a pattern (doesn't have to be fancy) for a kids backpack or bag? I have some fabric remenents that I thought may make a great bag for ds to take his stuff to and from daycare. I would prefer a backpack..... but I'm willing to look at all options.
Any suggestions...... I couldn't find anything useful at the fabric store this morning.
Thanks!

there's a very sweet pattern in a book called All Year Round, which is just excellent in general.

This thread was from a long time ago, but I think that LizD is referring to the rucksack pattern in "The Children's Year." All Year Round and The Children's Year ARE great books.
