Thanks for the info, Jayneysews! Actually I picked up a big sheet of the super absorbant auto-cloth at the dollar store the other day. About 1.5 feet by 3 feet for $1.

Well, I made a dipe with it, but I put it together wrong and the mystery material ended up on the outside instead of inbetween the two pieces of flannel. So I went ahead and tried it out and I poured probably 8 oz of water on it and it didn't leak through even when I squeezed it. So it definitely seems waterproof. Someone posted somewhere that with the coated nylon you aren't supposed to dry it or it will stop being waterproof. What do you think? These dipes would take a long time to hang dry.
