I want my 18 month old son to be curious geoge this halloween. I don't want to spend a ton of money - any ideas?

I would see if I could find a brown sweatsuit - a hoodie preferably and pants and add felt ears and tail. I think you could do that inexpensively and it be really, really cute! HTH!

Old Navy has a fairly cheap monkey costume... you could just add the red t-shirt!

I made a costume (bear) for ds last year. I used a "sewing for dummies" pattern and it was really easy. I didn't even use a sewing machine. I used furry materials which hid all my stiches, so it looked fine.

I second the sweatsuit.. Only in the south I'd reccomend some leggings and a brown shirt.

Maybe you can be the man in yellow with the big hat.

I would try Mervyns or JCPenneys for the brown sweat suit. I have found them both to be good in that area.

thanks for this. unfortunately my son doesn;t like things on his head. i was thinking of just coloring his nose in with a little color or something.

i think i am going to check out old navy today. mmmmm halloween is a comin fast isn't it?
