Ugh...we were at the Dr. earlier this week and DD did not want to give up his stethoscope. I foolishly said that we could try to make one at home (and she's reminded me about it 4X since). I can't figure out how o go about making one be it sewn, knit, etc. (I can't see how to make it stay in the ears primarily. Any ideas, or should I just give in and but her an authentic looking toy one (I don't care for the fake plastic primary-colored knds).

TIA

Wife to my DH Mama to my two girls  hearts.gif'03 and love.gif '06 and my sweet babyboy.gif 3-'10 I am blessed.

maybe you can do it with a rope/cord threaded and knotted through empty thread spools and put one on each end?

Blissful Mama to DD-(5), DS-(6) and someone new due in November!

You could make one out of a knit I-cord and then use pipe cleaners or medium size buttons for the ear pieces. (Something large enough to not get lodged in the ear, obviously.)
