Does anyone have a link or directions for making a simple cloth doll?

I don't sew very well, but since I have become a mommy I am drawn towards handmade things. I have made a easy block quilt for my kid, and a cloth you can see my experience is limited.

I also need to know how to attatch the yarn for the hair. My aunt made me a raggedy ann doll when I was little, but I can't seem to see how she attatched the hair.

Please PM me.

Here are some ideas...have fun!

I attach the hair by using yarn and sewing it right through the head, most instructions have the directions for hair too.
