Maybe this belongs in the crafts forum...

But do any of you have some creative uses for toilet paper tubes? I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old... and LOTS of tp tubes. Seems like we could have a good thing going here, but my creative juices aren't flowing!

I would recommend rubberbanding wax paper on one end, inserting rice or beans and then rubberbanding wax paper on the other end. You'll have a cool instrument.

I'm going to move this to the crafts forum where I'm sure you'll get lots of ideas!

we did make cool instruments with rice like the last poster said.

another easy project we did was tape two rolls together to make binoculars. Then the kids decorated wtih crayons . When finished we went on a nature walk to see what we could see with our binoculars.

mostly tho, we give ours to our pet ratties to chew up. LOL
