Ok. So I have a babylock companion 1550. It's at least 10-15 years old and have lost almost all of the original stuff that came with it. I stopped sewing for a while and moved a couple times during that time. At this point, I'm only able to sew a straight stitch.

So, I need to find replacement feet as well as a hemming foot and probably some other stuff, but I can't find them anywhere. Anyone know where I can find babylock stuff?

Also, are the babylock parts interchangable with any other brands?

TIA everbody.

Babylock things tend to be only available from the dealer. You might be able to find feet and such though through Nancy's Notions or Clotilde. There are charts up on some websites for determining what kind of shank your machine has, that'll determine which generic feet to get. I believe most older Babylocks are Low Shanks.
