All of the munki munki prints are out of production. Heather Ross is producing new (and adorable) prints for Free Spirit, but they aren't munki munki.

And it doesn't help that sushi is one of the most popular prints. Your best bets are to stalk ebay and to beg on the buy/sell/trade board at www.sewingmamas.com. But even scraps are considered valuable.

What does it look like? I have a few spare yards (maybe 3-5?) of some great sushi fabric - it's too cold and dark now to go out to the garage and check the designer. Mine is lovely feeling cotton, ivory or nearly white, with realistic shushi scattered around.

Rhu - mother,grandmother,daughter,sister,friend-foster,adoptive,and biological;not necessarily in that order. Some of it's magic, some of it's tragic, but I had a good life all the way (Jimmy Buffet)

Ohhhhh, that would probably explain why some Munki Munki (not sushi) I was eyeing on ebay got waaaaaay out of my price range...

I love that fabric. I have two yards I have been hoarding, afraid to cut it.

It looks like cute little pastel sushi, it's not realistic sushi.
