If I buy a yard each of say flannel, terry and fleece (45" wide fabric), how many diapers can I realistically expect to get out of that yard (assuming 1 layer of each fabric per diaper)?

Plan to use cuts of 17"x 22" for each diaper layer. Soakers will be about 75" sq per layre.

It also depends on the size you are making

LOL! Yeah, that would make a difference. I'm thinking infant size/small or so.

I can get 6 per yard if I cut my tabs out seperately. More if they are little.

you will get the most diapers per yard if you copy your pattern a few times and lay it all out before you cut. Otherwise you can trace your pattern on the cloth. If the cloth is 60 wide you can get a lot of diapers. Probably 6
