Midwifery Student and Mama to 2 daughters and 3 sons.
I have given birth a variety of ways and I am thankful for what each one has taught me.
I need to get the loglines import for the ring so I can read all the ones I am missing. It's a PITA to go through and hand enter them though.
There is no such thing as bad weather. Only bad clothing.
I haven't joined the ring since I tend to be on-again/off-again with posting at MDC (mostly just lurking), but I have been reading blogs from the ring for a while!
I just started it, but it will get less pathetic, I promise!

I run the blogring. It's basically software that links all of the blogs together and gives you some html to put into your template so that people can click from one blog to another to see what everyone's up to. I have all of the members in bloglines so that I can just see whenever anyone updates rather than having to click through the ring. Of course I haven't updated it in a while (sorry OMnM!) but I will and you can PM me for the bloglines info. But you'll need a bloglines account, which is free and easy. Bloglines is a website where you enter your favorite blogs and when they are updated, it shows you. I read about 30 updates per day from MDC people. Kittymommy - feel free to join even if you take breaks from MDC!
If you'd like to join the ring, go to www.mdcknitring.blogspot.com and click on "join".
Because I post about my knitting to my livejournal, but it's not the focus. I also post about other crafts (when I get time to do them, which isn't much lately), about my baby, about political rants, about everything...
Is that okay? I could give the tag link that just points to knitting posts: http://kimberlychapman.livejournal.com/tag/knitting

Mine isn't just knitting either. I just figure there needs to be a couple knitting related posts per month - that seems to be the general policy with themed blogrings.
And to the PP who asked what a blogring is, it's sort of like a chain of blogs connected by a similar theme or other relation (like knitting, or AP, or being from Sweden, etc) - there is a list created and all the blogs link one to the next. There is usually a "button" on the blog somewhere with the logo for the ring and the words "previous, next, and list" so you can go to the blog before and after that one in the chain, or see the whole list of blogs that belong.
See here: http://mdcknitring.blogspot.com/ - over in that right hand column there are ring buttons.
Does that help?
