i'm in, definitely.

so far, i like all the suggestions besides the bra and the scarf. i'm already knitting the world's most boring scarf, and there's no way that bra will hold my girls.

Knitting a bra for me, especially now, is no small project.

I love everything else listed. (I love the bra, too, just not not right for my biguns...)

Socks and lace are my resolutions to try in 2007.

http://www.mtholyoke.edu/~bsennott/F...%20Pattern.pdf

I printed that pattern out yesterday. Was gonna give it a try....

I THINK that we agree on one pattern...then we get started...posting pics of our progress, suggestions, problems.
It is rather a gathering of knitting mamas that want to share during the knitting of their project.

It is fun. I always learn something new and/or something to change i the pattern.

I like the bag, tea cozy and scarf but for someone who is not experienced as a knitter the lace scarf may be a challenge. I don't know how many times I ripped out wonky lace before I managed to make my first lace scarf and even then it had a couple of mistakes. But I would like to try another if the rest of the group is up to it.

I like the idea of socks, too. I've never tried them, but want to.

I would prefer not to do a scarf, but would do one if that's what was decided upon.

I guess the bra is definitely out . I couldn't wear it either (due to bf'ing, though it would fit, as I am not well-endowed )

Anyone have a good sock pattern?

I've also never done socks or lace...I really like the look of the falling water scarf and also need a small project bag.

I love love love that clutch bag! I've never done cables before so it would be a nice thing to learn. Plus for those who don't want to do cables they could do some variation. I am putting this bag on my to do list regardless too!

I'd be interested in the Argosy scarf pictured
or
http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer06/PATTfetching.html
or
http://www.woolywonder.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=11387

but I wouldn't do the bra (so not my size) or the pedi socks

Mom of a 7 yr old, 4 yr old, and 1 yr old. Wow. How did that happen?

Just but had to say MEGAN - I love that keppie cap! Love, love, love it! My DH is from Turkey, but he fancies himself a "modern Turk" and probably wouldn't like the pattern much. Too bad for him , I think it's great! Also, the kid in the pattern pics looks like an older version of my DS, who even pointed at the screen and said "Altug! Altug!" .

Mooooom! to  guitar.gifDS (1/05) and whistling.gifDSS (11/05).  TTC fingersx.gifour "ours" after VR on 10/12.

hey, i was just looking at sock patterns! I'm in if we do socks. I was looking at falling leaves http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall05/PATTfallingleaves.html. i've never done lace before, but this looks relatively simple... coming from someone who doesn't know any better. anyone know of any other simple lace sock patterns?

Oh wow... I think this is the time for me to get over my fear of socks. Those last two Knitty patterns are purty.

Honestly - I like everything I've seen. Like I said, can't do the bra, but love it all.
