So yesterday, after laundry, I said "To heck with what I need to accomplish, I'm going to sew." I had been sewing a bit earlier (mending, you know), and I realised I really wanted to craft something. I have had this shirt for almost a year, and it was a free but WAY too big shirt. So I saw the "after" photo basically as soon as I was given the tee. Just never made time for it.
So here is my NO PATTERN shirt.
Before:

After:

The shirt says "Hope 4 something more" and was from the Global Night Commute 2006: http://www.invisiblechildren.com/the...lNightCommute/

That turned out really nice! What a great idea to change a shirt around like that if you don't find yourself wearing the original style.

I like what you did with the shirt! I am a novice sewer, can you tell me how you gathered the shirt under the bust? I have a couple shirts I would like to try that with.

I used elastic. makes it much nicer!
I simply stretched the elastic and pinned it to the shirt, sewed it down, and swooned over my art.

That is awesome! I'm always trying to think of what to do with the grocery bag full of T-shirts in my craft closet; you can't throw them away!
