I was going to suggest the sticky, but I can't find it!

Here are some of the free diaper patterns that I used when I was starting out:

http://www.diapersewing.com/
http://www.thenappynetwork.org.nz/diy.php
http://www.geocities.com/rew4birth/Diapers.html
http://www.sweetandviciousdesigns.co...apatterns.html
http://fernandfaerie.com/sewing_fitteds.html

My favorite free pattern is the mama bird pattern. I'm planning on using it again in the coming month to make a couple of small diapers for our new baby. I also liked the nappy network patterns, but I could never get the hang of foe.

Good luck!

I know some of these are repeats of what the pp posted. My favorite is also the Mama Bird diaper pattern (as a pocket). Unfortunately, the sticky is gone, the original poster no longer had time to keep it updated.

I 'third' the MamaBird pattern. It was the first one I tried, and it came out really well. I found it on the small side, but that is probably because I had really never sewn anything before and was my error.
