That sounds delicious. You wouldn't want to share this recipe would you? Thanks in advance!

So many new ideas - I love keeping up with this thread!

I have added a few new things to our list for this year.

--aprons
--handmade soap w/fleec fuzzy wrap (to use with soap in it as a washcloth type of thing)
--handmade candles (first batch finished tonight)
--embellished beeswax votives

I have been experimenting to see what the boys can help with...they actually did really well helping with the melt and pour candles & soap! As for other things...I just keep looking at my fabric and trying to come up with new ideas for guy presents (so hard for me) and kid stuff.

It was really cute. I just sent them out to friends, but they will also put it together on a DVD. Or instead of a traditional scrapbook, you could make a photo book like they have on Shutterfly, Creative Memories online, Kodak, etc. The photo book would most likely be quicker than a traditional scrapbook (depending on how you scrapbook of course!).
You could download Photo Story 3 for free. It's very similar to OTM, and then you can burn the DVDs yourself for much, much cheaper.

This is my first year making gifts for my family so it's not very much. I'm sewing pajama bottoms for all my nieces and nephews plus my 2 boys, my dh and my inlaws.

anjanetteopal, that is such a great idea! I love this thread!

I am going to try and make the baby bows dolls, aprons, and muffin hats for my girls and bears, fleece snakes and berets for my boys. Christmas is super tight this year so we aren't doing anything for extended family except a newsy Christmas letter. I am saving all these great links for future birthdays etc.

I have been loving this www.sewmamasew.com/blog2 she is posting tutorials every day in November for handmade holidays.
