I just finished reading through the archives here regarding making/dyeing your own playsilks, and I have a few questions.

I know these are probably dumb questions, but please humor me as I have never dyed anything in my life.

What is the best way to dye the silks in batches; for example, if I wanted to make 10 red playsilks, or even 2 for that matter.

Will the Kool-aid method work, or would using "real" dyes be better. Is there a a danger to using the procion dyes? Exactly which dyes and colors do you recommend?

Basically, I'm thinking about making my dd some playsilks, and probably make some for gifts and maybe to sell locally in my town. If anybody would like to take the time to point me to some step by step directions, or put them here, I would be forever grateful!!
