Thankyou for posting that! I love my TFPs, and they are super comfortable.

Instead of doing a contrasting top panel, though, if you're using a loose-weave fabric like a linen I'd consider lining the waistband area down past the point where you secure the ties. I had a lot of problems with one of my pairs where the weave gave way at the point where the ties were fastened on, and that would be a neat way to troubleshoot.
