Hi!
So I've seen the Bella Band and other versions of the same kind of thing. http://www.ingridandisabel.com/
But $25 seems a bit steep. Does anyone know how to make one? I can sew, but just barely
Thanks,
Lisa

omg! I want one of those so bad. My back is always cold and my pants are falling down all the time. Maybe some jersey would work--

I used tube tops when I was pregnant, but I suspect they aren't in style anymore :P

Subbing...

I was planning on buying one this weekend. I never thought of making one, but would rather do that.

It can't be that hard. I tried googling it and found a pattern on Etsy for $3.50. I also found these instructions: http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/.../t-290072.html

I think I'm going to try this out after the kids are in bed tonight.

Get 2 tank tops with a decent lycra content. If you use different colors it will be reversable. Put them together, right side to right side, one inside the other. Cut them straight across, just below the arm holes. Sew the raw edges together. Turn right side out. Press flat at new seam & sew again on the "right" side so it stays put. Sew the bottom hems together.

Oh good idea! Then it will be two layers. I want one right now--hmm I hope I have some old t-shirts around.

I didn't have any extra shirts laying around, so I used some fabric from my stash. Pretty quick and easy: http://bugsandsnails.blogspot.com/20...aist-band.html

I'm happy with it.

Thanks I am so happy I found these links. I wanted a belly band but with Christmas and hard times I didn't have the money to buy one but I got lots of fabric and old shirts that might work.
