Thanks! I am going to see what all is left after I make what I need this weekend. I might have enough for some mini waffles or a couple full sized. I wish I could find another sweater like that. I have no clue how it ended up like that!

I have mixed feelings about not being able to legally marry. Some days I am glad that there is not any governmental paperwork saying we are married (in their eyes) because I disagree with the way this links church and state. Most days though when I think about it I just end up being really pissed off that because I am female and the person I love is female we are not able to have the same legal protections that a couple seen as being married by the law would have. For example, I am Keagan's bio mom. Allison has adopted him. Our lawyer said that even having done that, my family could possibly fight Allison for Keagan AND WIN CUSTODY if I were to die. That is just so wrong on so many levels. And don't even get me started on the fact that I had to lie to get in to the hospital to see DP's dad when he was dying because I am not family. We had to pretend I was married to DP's brother.

Wow, that was quite the rant. Sorry.

That sounds really cute! I'd love to see a pic

I've been knitting and felting bags left and right. I think I made 5 or six in the last few weeks. I'll try to take pics tonight.

Susannah, I totally hear you on the rights/privileges/benefits piece. Leaves me :.

The only craft blog I really read is Constant Dreamer's--it's on my blog roll.

Oh, and my own, which is not so much a craft blog as a place to stash photos of people enjoying what I make!

Small Friend C (who's 13, now, and probably needs a new handle) wants me to dip dye a silk tie for her.

I'm 29. I will be the big 3-0 in September. :

My daughter is 4.5. I don't think we are going to win the oldest or youngest child award.

I am also 29, going to be 30 in November. I like being of similar age to a lot of you. I always feel so young, a lot of the moms I know around here are 10 years older than me. not all, but a lot. my dd is 3 and my ds is 1.

I'm knitting a skirt, and a turtle and some booties at the moment!

ps are we discussing things we shouldn't?

I think we are simply discussing projects we are currently working on..I don't think it matters what those projects are for

Well, I've been puking....I threw up 5 times in an hour this morning. What is up with that!?! We were outside weaving a willow fence for the garden yesterday. It may have just been too much sun, raw cheese & beer. Not a good combo.

I'm 30, and my oldest will be 7 in September. Other than the fence, I'm being a lazy toad.

I'm slacking on my cards too. I have about 12 done. I'm so tired today, I stoyed up too late too.

Yes, four months. And I seriously doubt it. That would be....insane. I'm voting for too much cheese & beer. Man, I've got cool cloth pads coming to me! I want a chance to use them, darn it!! I don't think I got back my cycle until 6m pp after my last babe.

I'm feeling better. I bought some mint lemonade from a little boy down the street. I'm a sucker for lemonade stands! I need a bumper sticker..."will break for lemonade stands!"

So I sold enough items on the trading post to pay my eBay fees and to buy myself a book. I just can't stop myself.

So what do you think I should get? I am really leaning towards doodle-stitching
But also looking at The New Crewel
But this book looks fun too.

Oh and this

cant decide

Today I am going to visit my brand new baby cousin at the hospital (my cousin and his wife's 3rd baby Madeline)::.

Then, back to making some wool food! Yesterday at a garage sale, I found a purple wool sweater. I want to think of an animal that would look neat in purple. Maybe an octopus, but I don't know if I can make that! $1 for some wool, woo hoo!

Ugh, I shouldn't have been "window shopping" on eBay. Now I am thinking of getting supplies instead of a book. Being a Libra makedecision making very hard,

I agree but the total price seemed worth it. So I bid It it went higher than the first bid I would have given it up.

I notice that with a lot of books the shipping is compleatly ridiculous. Like $8 to ship a small book by media mail. And that is usually powersellers or book companies. Ugh! I always just look at the total price when bidding.

I have a bad habit of reporting sellers that have outrageous shipping. It's circumventing fees. If I have to pay those ridiculous seller fees, I think everyone should! It's one of the 3000 things that bugs the crap out of me with Ebay....unfortunately, It's my biggest money maker: I do okay on Etsy and wholesale etc...but Ebay pays the bills!

I've been playing with my new jigsaw to see what kind of fun wood things I can make and then playing with milk paint to see what kind of color/finishes I can do. It's a pretty big learning process for me.

Oh and not married (it's not legal and neither of us is a fan of legal marriage), no kids yet, and I'm 29
