For my kids, I took a l/s raglan t-shirt pattern I had, used a heavy weight denim, split the back in 2 and attached ties. I put elastic at the wrists, pockets on the front and a cute applique. Here's a pic: http://s146.photobucket.com/albums/r...t=100_2338.jpg
