first of all... please forgive my extreme ignorance about my own cycle and how it all works. i have 3 kids and have been able to concieve the first try with all of them. i guess i know that ovulation occurs sometime in the middle of the cycle and we have been lucky all 3 times. we have literally had unprotected intercourse only about 5 times in our 15 year marraige and we have 3 pregnancies/children. anyway... i just started af a couple of months ago after my last babe who was 25 months at the time. about 2 weeks ago we had an dtd oops (meaning no condom). About 2 days later I noticed stringy egg white cm. I was expecting af by now but... not yet. Also, my 2 year old has been sick and has been nursing a lot more so this could also be to blame i guess. I am just wondering what you all (who clearly understand fertility much more than I) think about the timing above. thanks for your input

peace

jen

Take a pregnancy test, it should tell you by now.

Well, thats the only way to know for sure. And think of the relief you will have knowing the answer and being able to move on from there!

tested and BFN... however, now dh says that i am wrong about the timing... it was only last week that this happened so i should not be expected af yet anyway. i am sooooo sleep deprived from my ds being sick and nursing constantly. i don't know what day it is! anyway, i guess i have to wait until next weekend at least to trust the bfn. i am not quite freaking out yet. i LOVE being pg and birth and breastfeeding and babywearing etc... but it is just not what we had invisioned. i was convinced ds was our last babe...
