I have been reading some threads on here, and a loy of people "chart" instead of use birth control pills or anything... so I was wondering, can anyone tell me what that means and how it works, or where I can get more info. about it?
Thanks!

Mommy22boys, I'm new to charting (this is my first cycle), but www.fertilityfriend.com offers free courses (there are 20 short lessons) that teach you all about charting, and they even allow you to enter your basal body temperatures (your body's temperature at rest...in the morning before you do ANYthing else) and will help you interpret your data. Charting helps you to pinpoint your day of ovulation. The website caters to those who are TTC, but I suppose you could also use it as a birth control method by knowing which days to avoid BDing. There are lots of ladies on here who know much more about charting than I do, but here's a start

Basically charting is using the three major fertility signs (cervical fluid, waking temperature and cervix position) to determine if you are fertile. This book will tell you everything you need to know and more.

lather, rinse, repeat
