i have a long history of having one or two totally "normal" 28 day cycles and then having one that lasts three to four months. i'm currently on a very long cycle, the first day of my last period was oct 31. i usually don't even consider pregnancy unless it's been at least two months since AF. i got two BFNs on christmas eve and christmas, but we've DTD since then and i'm wondering how long i should wait to test from the day we DTD? everything i've looked up just says to wait until the first day of your missed period, but that's obviously useless advice to me.
so my question is how long should I wait? How many days past conception before hcg levels are high enough to avoid a false neg?
*plotting with sam until we have our own little ones*
planning to TTC in May '11 (just in time for my birthday!)
