hi! this month my 3 year old ds has gone from nursing a few times a day to just once when he wakes up. my periods have consistently been every 28-30 days for a while now. this month my period is a week late and pregnancy tests are negative so far. could this drop in nursing have delayed or messed up my cycle? thanks!

It's usually the other way around that an increase in nursing could delay ovulation, but I suppose it's possible that the change in hormones may have contributed.  Any number of things can cause delayed ovulation, and a lot of times, we can't be sure what the cause really was.

thanks! i cannot think of any other changes except that. my diet and exercise and stress(low stress happily) levels have remained constant.  i guess i will have to wait and see a little while longer.
