I am 37 years old, and my cycle is usually pretty regular (every 30-35 days) give or take a couple.  I spotted on Feb. 1st after a workout, but it didn't turn in to anything.  I am currently over 2 weeks late now!  I took a couple pregnancy tests a few days ago and they were negative.  My boobs are extremely sore, and I have had slight cramping for almost 2 weeks.  It feels like I have major PMS but nothing is happening.  My last pregnancy I tested negative for a full month until the doctor confirmed it.  Am I just getting old and my body is completely off??  So frustrating :(

Well, if you have the history of your tests not showing a positive you may want a blood test with your doctor since that worked before.

However, if you do not know when you ovulated you can't tell if you're late compared to your ovulation date.  If you spotted when you ovulated (that happened to me last month) then you may be just about due now instead of late.  It's not rare at all to ovulate a week or more later than usual and then your period shows up two weeks later.  Technically then it's still right on time but your total cycle is longer.

I don't know about getting old--my cycles are still regular and I am also 37.  Good luck to you!
